Where to Eat

You will find a list of dining options here.

For breakfast, lunch and dinner, or just a coffee break in between, Geographe Restaurant Espresso Bar can get you sorted. With a cosy café feel and an entirely charming view.

Freycinet Marie Farm is a seafood lovers dream come true. You can stop in and eat onsite at the farm gate, or buy supplies to take back to your accommodation to enjoy at your leisure.

For casual dining you can check out Richardson’s Bistro at Freycinet Lodge, picturesquely situated inside the National Park at the end of Richardson’s Beach. Richardsons Bistro offer lunch, dinner and snack through out the day and is a spectacular location to enjoy a glass of wine and watch the sun go down.

You will also find one of your fine dining options located inside the main building at Freycinet Lodge; the Bay Restaurant offer a la carte service and a delicious menu featuring Tasmanian Produce. You may also enjoy The Edge Restaurant, located at Edge of the Bay Resort. With a strong focus on local produce the Edge offers mouth watering delights with a spectacular view out to Great Oyster Bay and the Hazards Mountains. Bookings are required for both The Bay Restaurant and The Edge. (Link to each of the listing both on and off the site)

Iluka Tavern in the centre of the township is another great option. Open for lunch and dinner for more casual dining, it is located just opposite Muirs Beach, arguably the best walking beach in the village and another favourite spot for sunset walks or viewing.

On the way to or from Coles Bay, there are 2 delightful options. The Pondering Frog just a few hundred metre south of the Coles Bay turn off and offer coffee, refreshments, home made berry delight and ice cream. And Devils Corner, just a little further south again is the proud home of Tombolo Freycinet. Possibly the best Pizza’s on the coast – focusing on fresh local produce. Pair it with either a luscious Villino Espresso coffee or Freycinet Vineyard Wine and soak in one of the coasts most magical views.
