By Car
There are no car rental cars available in Coles Bay or Freycinet National Park. Car rentals need to be arranged in Hobart, Launceston, Devonport or other regional centres. There are a number of car hire companies in those locations like AVIS, HERTZ, SIXT, Bargain Car Rentals,Europcar, Budget, Thrifty, Redspot. There is no general bicycle hire in Coles Bay. Freycinet Lodge has E bikes guests can hire.
You can take you car into Freycinet National Park once you have paid your National Parks Fees. You can purchase a pass just for the day, or for multiple parks in Tasmania from various locations including Coles Bay. Once in the park you can access walking tracks to world famous Wineglass Bay, and other amazing short walks.
Getting to the Freycinet Peninsula will take you along some spectacular touring routes.

Bus or Coach
There are connecting services to the East Coast from Hobart, Launceston and Devonport. For getting to the East Coast you will need to book a seat with TassieLink (from Hobart, or Devonport) or Calows Coaches (from Launceston). To get onto the Freycinet Peninsula you will need to book a connecting service to Coles Bay with Calows Coaches.
By Bicycle
There is no bicycle hire in Coles Bay. All airlines will allow you to bring your bicycle with you; please speak to your preferred airline to discuss their packing requirements. Caravans and Motorhomes
